The Yard Milkshake Bar
The Milkshake Bar offers specialty milkshakes, hand-dipped cones, bowls and edible cookie dough. With 28 flavors of ice cream and eight flavors of cookie dough the possibilities are unlimited. The Milkshake Bar is located at Pelican Place at Farms just a few steps from the Cobb Movie Theaters.

Rum Sisters
While there are many places to get your bushwacker fix on the Alabama Gulf Coast, there's only one place you can get it in the form of a bundt cake. That would be at Rum Sisters. Rum Sisters is a gourmet bakery specializing in alcohol-infused cakes, organic coffee, and other bakery items. The cakes come in three sizes; baby ($5), small ($22) and large ($45), and alcohol makes up about two-thirds of the content of each. But don't worry, you won't get the same result as a cocktail. The alcohol pretty much evaporates in the baking process. But one of the top questions we get is, 'Will I get buzzed from your cakes?' The answer is no, but one bite and you will be buying several and mailing them to friends. Rum Sisters will ship their cakes anywhere.

City Donut
City Donut offers made-from-scratch donuts fresh daily in Orange Beach along with brewed coffee and espresso drinks. It's not open late night so you would have to plan ahead and buy a dozen and have them waiting for you at the condo after a night of Bushwackers at the Flora-Bama. In the morning, the line outside starts early, and they typically sell out every day. We go at least once each time we visit, and we'll wager that these will be some of the best donuts you've ever had.

Hope's Cheesecake
Hope's has been creating spectacular gourmet cheesecakes in Gulf shores since 1996. You can buy it by the slice or by the cake and can ship one home to anywhere in the USA. Plan early and get one in the fridge for that after dinner or late-night craving. Pam's favorite is the Key Lime (she loves everything Key Lime).
